What a fantastic trip to Bogota for the 5th Iberoamerican Pharmacometrics Congress! My presentation: Soft Skills Aren’t SOFT… And Teamwork is WORK! Communicating M&S to a Diverse Audience for Understanding and Impact was well received. I really enjoyed the diversity of presentation topics and excellent speakers, the inspiring session on Women in Pharmacometrics, and learning more about how PMx is applied in Latin America, including a fascinating session on veterinary PMx.
This was my second RedIF meeting – and certainly not my last- in fact, this spurred me to start learning Spanish for the 2026 meeting 🙂 The Colombian people were welcoming and showed us a great time at the social event- I’ve never danced so much in between courses! And of course no international trip is complete without sightseeing and trying new foods with Pharmacofriends.
